The owner was very nice and helped with the questions we had. For the price of the room, you can't really beat the price for what you get. (Kitchen, living room and bedroom). However, the quality of the items in the room were what I expected for such a low price.
The room smelled of smoke, even though I requested a non-smoking room. It somewhat cleared after we turned the air on. The furniture and appliances were not up to date. It looked as if some of the stuff dated back decades. Things were pretty clean though.

The only positive is the bed was comfortable.
The hotel is outdated and in serious need of being updated. One of the TV's in the room was from the 1980'S. I couldn't believe it. The room had a weird odor.

The Motel was dirty, the seats had the springs on the floor and one had mould on it, went to breakfast they had no milk and one bagel which smelt of curry, cereal was stale. Was disgusted by the place and felt totally ripped off after paying $50 a night, moved down the road to a lovely motel for the same price

Good price & location. (.
Bathrooms need to be cleaned better and rooms should be checked for bugs (not bed bugs). Breakfast starts too late to be of any use.

I like the location and check-in was good.
I did not like the bedding. Beds were infested with bugs!

Continental breakfast was excellent.
The pool should be open till at least midnight. Most travelers in that area are going to Busch Gardens and the park closes at 10pm. So does the motel pool. So you really never get a chance to use it.

best bang for the buck in Williamsburg

It was close to historic Williamsburg and inexpensive.
I guess you get what you pay for... Though the pillows that felt like they just had a couple old towels stuffed in them, the sand paper sheets, carpet that stained my daughters feet with grime, and the paper thin walls/ceiling were a bit much. We got out of there as soon as the sun popped above the horizon the next day. Wow! Now that I think back, I definitely overpaid!

The rooms were easy accessable and the AC was - unlike other stays - rather silent.

I really liked the price, the fact that it was two queen size beds, and the mini fridge. My husband is very picky when it comes to hotels and thought this one was very clean and nice looking.
